Anyone thinking of moving to London…
don’t do it.
Yes I know it is a ‘great’ city and yes it is a nice city to visit. But just don’t live and work here. It is really not worth the stress and expense.
Rush hour in the morning has to be the worst part of the day and it just makes everybody angry and basically mean.
- You will not get on the first tube that comes in because it will already be full and the barricade of other people waiting will force you to wait.
- Once you do get on the tube you be be uncomfortably close to people you have never met before made worse when you are facing someone the same height as you who is so close you could probably lick them on the nose without moving.
- You have to hope that you have something to hold on to otherwise you extremely like to fall or hit the people around you when the tube stops.
- Then you get to the next station where are sure that none else can fit on but I assure you that tubes are like clown cars and more people will push there way on and there will always be one person yell “can you move down” because obviously you have left a huge gap empty when you clambered your way on at the last stop.
- Also don’t think it will be easy to get off the tube once you get to your stop, especially at a busy one, firstly maneuvering yourself around the other people on the tube to get to the side of the carriage that opens and then people who are on the platform are you second challenge. They leave a gap only big enough for one skinny person to fit through at a time, just so they don’t lose there place at the edge. It is a good job there aren’t many fat people in London otherwise we would be screwed.
- You WILL be late, your journey WILL take twice as long a usual and you WILL hate it everyday.
I HATE THE NORTH BOUND NORTHERN LINE.
(Sorry about the rant I just had a crappy journey this morning and rushed to get to a lecture that the lecturer didn’t turn up for. I could have had an extra hour in bed =[)
